First Cyber Security Limited, established in 2004, is a privately funded British company specialising in Internet security and brand protection.

The company's patent pending S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® technology incorporates innovative processes for authenticating web sites, validating logo use, and proactively discovering, warning and protecting users from phishing sites, logo abuse, and counterfeit web sites.

First Cyber Security is pleased to be a member of EURIM. The Information Society Alliance www.eurim.org.uk is the policy studies group for Information Society issues. It is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee with political members (including MPs and MEPs), corporate members, professional bodies, trade associations and other interest groups. Officials and advisors in London and Brussels have observer status. The Alliance organises working groups to look at ICT and related issues that Government, policy makers, officials and/or industry agree need to be addressed. The groups aim for peer-reviewed consensus and practical recommendations on what should happen.

First Cyber Security is pleased to be a sensor partner of the iGRC consortium. The consortium is developing, building and testing an innovative Integrated Governance, Risk and Compliance (iGRC) information infrastructure protection system capable of being scaled and deployed as a practical application. It includes an interoperability Protocol (GRCiP) to couple 'sensor' products within the network security supply chain to the Proteus® GRC management suite for real-time control of threat modalities. First Cyber Security are delighted to have been awarded Government Gateway Approved Partner (GGAP) status as part of the Cabinet Office initiative to promote Transformational Government. Government has to be proactive in encouraging the safe use of these new online services, we believe that the use of S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® technology from First Cyber Security is an innovative cost effective way of increasing trust.

We are a founder member of SITC, the Security Innovation & Technology Consortium, an organisation dedicated to supporting the development of innovative and technologically sophisticated security solutions, backed by the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA).
